Thief Prince by Cheree Alsop

Cheree Alsop is one of my top ten favorite authors.  Her writing is simple yet exquisite.  Her books have great morals, values, adventures, heroes, and just a smidgen of innocent & heart-melting romance mixed in as well.

Thief prince is about discovering the world for yourself and not through the eyes of your parents or peers.  It's also about discovering yourself in general: what kind of person you want to be and how you chose to be a leader for people.  It is about accepting and embracing what sets you apart from others, and using your talents to help others.

It is about not making judgments until you have all the information necessary to make a wise decision.  It is about friendship, forgiveness, acceptance, generosity, and the desire to better the world around you.

I hope you enjoy this book and recommend it to people you know.  I enjoyed it immensely and have read it multiple times already.

"...My father enjoys a good bet.  He taught me that the best way to make a small fortune gamboling was to bring a large fortune to bet with." He laughed.  "He also taught me that to loose is a great way to ensure that you never become too prideful."

THE STORY:
When her brother’s sickness forces Kit to accept the title of heir to her kingdom’s crown, she is outcast by the others and treated as inferior; but when she is kidnapped along with the other heirs on a dangerous journey, her differences turn into strengths that may save their lives. Kit is tested both mentally and physically as she faces odds both on the battlefield and within the royal social circles. She soon realizes that her greatest challenge may be to return home with her heart in one piece.

Thief Prince is a story of courage in the face of fear, and of love despite overwhelming odds. Whether you are looking for an adventure or the chance to see kingdoms beyond your world, Thief Prince is the story to sweep you away.
